In this wine, Casal da Colheira sought to recover an ancient practice of winemaking in clay amphorae.
They chose the traditional Fernão Pires grape variety whose must fermented together with the skins, seeds and stalks, followed by a prolonged maceration of 3 months.
It reveals a wine whose profile contrasts with that of modern and technological whites.
This tanned wine shows an intense color, great aromatic complexity and a strong structure resulting in a wine with high gastronomic versatility. Everything indicates that it will also have great longevity.
It should be served between 12 and 14ºC
