Coliseu is a family project that works on its own vineyards on very small plots in Baixo Corgo do Douro, with maximum respect for identity and terroir, making the wines the best expression of their old vines. The young and vibrant winemaker Hugo Línton's philosophy is “the more we do in the vineyard, the less we have to do in the cellar”, and this is how he expresses the identity of his terroir in each bottle of his tiny production. The identity of the Douro is interpreted here in an intellectual way, with immense character, freshness and the typical pungent minerality of its best houses.
