The first wine from Covela to be certified organic, this Avesso Reserva is very special to us at Lima & Smith Lda., as it represents our dream of taking the Avesso grape variety to another level of excellence, and also Avesso's ability to produce extraordinary wines. The grapes are harvested by hand from the granite terraces of Covela, overlooking the Douro River in the extreme southeast of the Vinhos Verdes region. Fermentation is spontaneous in French and Austrian oak casks where the wine rests for around six months.

The result is a wine with an elegant, floral and delicate aroma with notes of apple and peach. Being an Avesso, it never loses its freshness, intensity and persistence in a very gastronomic profile. Good aging potential.
