Covela Branco, formerly Escolha Branco, is perhaps Covela's signature white wine. This is a blend wine full of character with the Avesso grape varieties (the main one from the Baião and Covela sub-region), Chardonnay and a few other “seasonings” used by winemaker Rui Cunha, who has been linked to the Covela project since 1990.

This white wine is complex but its structure does not originate from the use of barrels, but rather from the single batch made in stainless steel vats with some skin maceration and batonnage. The freshness of Avesso perfectly complements the voluptuousness of Chardonnay and other international grape varieties to produce this fascinating white. Covela practices organic farming and is certified by KIWA-Sativa. This wine is vegan.
