Visually, it is straw yellow, light gold, bright. The aroma is challenging! It is discovered slowly, but shows enormous complexity from the beginning.
The earthy impact of the clay from the amphorae mixes with notes of ripe fruit, orange jam, quince jelly and pear. Rich and intense.
Time in the glass renews the earthy notes and enhances the complexity. The mouthfeel is intense and multi-textured.
It has a clear unctuousness that is counterbalanced by the firmness of elegant but present tannins. The acidity is lively and surprisingly savory, giving it enormous balance and length. It finishes long and very complex.
