Chryseia is our best expression of the Douro Valley terroir. Created with great care and attention to detail in the winery at Quinta de Roriz, Chryseia represents the two families' commitment to producing the most elegant wine from two essential grapes in the Douro — Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca.

One of the coolest years in recent times resulted in slower and more gradual maturation, which favored balance. The unusually cool nights during the harvest contributed to excellent acidity and color in the wines.

The 2021 is characterized by exceptional freshness, elegance and a long, refined aftertaste.
