Pedro Pimenta da Silva inherited one of the most emblematic estates for the production of Vintages in the Douro, which descends from an altitude of 300 meters to embrace the famous village of Pinhão. A dormant gem for exactly 200 years, which provided grapes and old wines for some of the best Ports ever produced by traditional houses. Since 2019, with the help of experienced winemaker Bernardo Cabral, Pedro has been working hard to deliver the glory that belongs to Sabordela, and finally comes to the market with stunning whites, reds and Ports. Thus, a new legend is born in Pinhão!
Wine:
Tinta Amarela, Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, and Tinto Cão, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Francisca and Sousão. Hand-picked. Fermentation in stainless steel for 10 days followed by prolonged aging with pasta for 1 month. Aging in oak barrels for 12 months.
