Characterized by a small bunch, low yield and a thin, sensitive skin, this well-known French grape variety has been one of the main challenges for our viticulture and oenology team since its planting in 2001.

This example from Quinta do Cidrô demonstrates a different facet than usual by incorporating the finesse and elegance of this typical Burgundy variety with the structure and minerality of the Douro.

Shows an open, bright ruby ​​color. The typicality of the variety is expressed through notes of cherry and pomegranate, coexisting peacefully with the nuances of vanilla and very light notes of coffee powder resulting from a 12-month aging in French oak barrels.

A very balanced wine, round and full of intense fruit flavors with a long and persistent finish.
