Grande Reserva was our first wine of excellence, the result of the 1996 harvest. It was also the first Douro wine to adopt the designation Grande Reserva, which would later be adopted by IVDP as the designation to be used in the region's best wines. .

It is a beautiful wine with aromas of ripe fruit such as blackberry and black cherry, as well as a freshness given by wild aromas. In the mouth it shows good acidity, with very present but ripe tannins, polished and well harmonized with the toast provided by the aging in wood. It finishes long and with a light and seductive bitterness. A red that you can enjoy young with your favorite meat or cheese, but that after a few years in the bottle will evolve to a unique level of perfection.
