Although it is Vinha do Pombal with its contribution of Touriga Nacional that baptizes this wine, the structuring variety of the final batch is Touriga Franca - as this is a wine with greater suitability for earlier consumption, where it is important to highlight the qualities aromatics, subtlety and elegance.

Garnet color with violet edge.
It presents the typical characteristics of the Touriga Franca variety with exuberant floral notes of rockrose and violets, but also some less obvious suggestions of spices, eucalyptus and wild berries.
Quite vigorous on the palate, peppery, generous and full of vigor, with touches of black cherry, blackberry and subtle notes of dark chocolate.
Firm but at the same time round with a persistent aftertaste.

Aging for 10 months in 400L French oak barrels. After being bottled, it ages in the cellar for at least 6 months.

Pombal do Vesúvio is a wine that will provide great pleasure to anyone who prefers to drink it now, as it is a very accessible and seductive wine.
However, it has very good bottle aging potential over the next 3 to 5 years.
