This wine is the result of my incessant search for very old vineyards in the Serra de São Mamede, 700 meters above sea level. I have been recovering them over the years.

It was aged for 24 months in used French oak barrels brought from Burgundy, to preserve the identity of the vineyard.

Very dark red color, almost black. The notes of ripe and intense fruit, although without any excess maturation, to which tobacco is added, and a mineral background, appear accompanied by a light vegetal suggestion that adds an unusual complexity and tension. Lively and powerful, austere but delicate, it surprises with its lively but serene tannins, finishing fresh and vigorous.
