Produced from the Trincadeira and Grand Noir grape varieties, coming from the old vineyard planted in the tapada in 1901 and harvested manually. Concentrated ruby color. Aroma demonstrates great complexity, balsamic, rockrose, earth, tobacco, with black fruit and plum, side by side with more distinct and surprising vegetal notes. Firm and balanced acidity, with great structure and firm tannins. Very long and persistent finish, with a high level of expression and character.
