On the nose, very fresh and elegant with notes of wild berries and black cherries balanced with seductive nuances of “liqueurice”, the aroma being complexified by discreet notes of wood.
In the mouth it is very concentrated, warm, with firm tannins and a smooth texture, with a very intense and persistent finish that clearly demonstrates the strength of the wines from the Douro Superior. This wine goes well with meats, cheeses and Mediterranean cuisine in general.
