The Douro region is known for its very concentrated Port and Red Wines with a full-bodied and powerful structure. Producing a Rosé under the conditions provided by the terroir is not an easy task, it is necessary to find the perfect balance in terms of skin maceration, so as not to extract too much color, and at the same time obtain aromas and flavors with the subtlety worthy of a wine. great Rosé.

At the beginning of the project, we considered Quinta de Cidrô for its high altitude (550m) and mild temperatures, conditions that are ideal for producing a fresh and aromatic Rosé.

Quinta de Cidrô Rosé is brilliant with fine and delicate aromas where notes of raspberry and blackcurrant combined with floral nuances stand out immediately. A balanced and elegant wine that is very refreshing and velvety, with lots of fruit and good acidity.
